Japanese Shirtmaking Journey...a detour.

I am so sorry that it's taking me this long to continue to explore the Japanese Shirtmaking book that I started several days ago.  I am recovering from a hip joint/bone injury that has severely limited my ability to stand, sit, sew,..gosh almost everything.  I promise I will get back to it soon, hopefully within the next week.  This blog and it's readers are very important to me, and It's frustrating not to be able to blog with sewing pictures and procedures...rather than this boring monologue :)

Thanks so much for your comments! Please add yours by clicking here-->

First you take care of yourself, Pam. We readers can wait, but thanks for the update on your status. Knowing you are healing does make the wait between posts bearable. By the way, I stripped down one of DH's Land's End shirts and copied the collar. Very nice. On my first trial I took too large a seam but it still looked good. Now I just have to figure out how this sewer can duplicate the factory produced nice even stitching. I just saw a Pfaff booklet on FI forum on men's shirts and was so envious of those wonderful machines. Best wishes.

Here's to healing quickly. I hope the injury is soon no longer problematic, or recurring. Poor grammar, that.

Also, I've recently received my first order of your interfacing. Fantastic! Just wonderful!
