A New W-M-Distraction!

The newest addition to my "Weapons of Much Distraction"
It's a Kenmore 158-2142, a sweet power-house of a machine from my late Mother-in-law's estate. It's a very heavy all-metal machine that runs beautifully...and has the manual, all the cams, and lots of accessories. It's one of the low-shank Kenmores, so specialty feet will be easy to come by.   I just love new toys...don't you?

  3. Now that is a work horse of a machine - it will last forever!!!! And be easy to fix, clean, tune up - all that stuff, because .... 'no computer'! Nice that it came to live in your house :)

  4. That looks like the Kenmore I purchased in 1975, cabinet and all. I thought the cams were quite clever. It served me well.

I made use of those cams too, GREAT for embellishments.

I have one even older and will not give it up. It realy is a workhorse. I use it for all my really heavy sewing projects. I am sure you will enjoy it. The cams are fun to play with.
