A new blouse for Jill in Blue Batik :)
Stitching up this pattern is so fast and easy!
I did make a pattern modification.
As I hope you can see, I split the cut-on cap sleeve to give it some movement.
I also added a self-fabric bow at the CF waist to give the appearance of a drawstring.
And since she really liked the first one I made from this bright flowery cotton lawn I decided to make another. I hope she likes it in Blue Batik just as much!
I liked the first version but I really like the print & color of the second version! It a gorgeous shade of blue, on my monitor, anyway!
ReplyDeleteLove the batik one!
ReplyDeleteDid you use 2 different coordinating fabrics, or are they both border prints? Very nice, I really like them both!
ReplyDeleteI just love batiks. Great blouses!
ReplyDeleteGreat fabric - fresh and crisp!
ReplyDeleteLookes lovely. I've added the pattern to my list!

ReplyDeleteBoth are great - cool and quick!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty - both of them!
ReplyDeletePam, the batik fabric is beautiful. It's a perfect choice for this top. LOVE it!
ReplyDeletewow, that split in the sleeve makes a real difference. It does not appear stiff. Great idea.
