This outfit for my 7 year old niece Bella features a fun style from Ottobre Design (01/08, #14). The top is made with knit fabric and accented with beads and applique. The white "skort" of my own design is made from stretch cotton sateen and features decorative topstitched seams.

Those are both so lovely, Pam. What lucky neices, and what a great auntie!
Great outfits,Pam you have such a sense for design and composition. Your nieces outfits could be framed,

Lovely cute outfits for your nieces.
I love the shirt with the knitted lace inset. I bought a whole huge shopping bag of stretch lace when our Fabric store had an amazing sale. I don't know what possessed me though because I haven't thought of a use for a lot of it. This will use up a bit. Some of it is beautiful rich coloured designs that would be perfect as an unstructured jacket or cropped shrug type garment over a solid dress/shirt and pants. Very pretty as MOB outfits I would think. By my MOB days are over now.
Thanks for the idea, now I can use some of it at least!@!
May I ask where you got the beautiful jersey fabric? the outfits are wonderful!
Hi Cindy,
I only buy fabric for outfits for my nieces when it is on sale, LOL!
And often I get fabric as gifts from friends and family.
